Give a brief summary of your book, in your own words. What will the reader learn, receive, or benefit from as a result of reading your book?
12 years ago, the Lord inspired me share my personal testimony
in a book that he will use to minister hope and healing to many others who may be in the same situation that he had delivered
me from. This book shares the testimony of going from hard trials to triumph in my own marriage for 5 years. After
giving my life to Christ and becoming a spirit filled christian, I found myself spiritually unequally yoked with my husband
- based on the scripture II Corinthians 6:14 - "do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers". Learning firsthand
the pain and suffering, persecution and trauma that results in being in a union with one who is an unbeliever. Believing
that divorce was not a part of God's plan for my situation. By choosing to stay in the marriage and continue to walk
with God for 5 long years, I experienced God's miracle working power and divine intervention reward my faith and answer my
prayers 16 years ago by saving my husband and completely transforming our lives and our marriage! A journey which I
share in this divinely inspired book. Readers that find themselves in this situation - whether is be because of becoming
a Christian after having been in a secular marriage or entering into it as two Christians with one walking away from God,
or discovering that one has matured in Christ and the other has not, all equally as devastating in a Christian marriage,
can find encouragement in reading "Unequally Yoked". They will experience renewed faith and hope as they discover that
God can and does help us to live victoriously in these situations!
What was the chief reason for your desire to have this book published?
The chief reason for my desire to publish this is driven
by my fervent desire to answer the call fo God on my life to share this message to many people. Next, because of having
been in that situation myself, knowing what others go thru, having a strong passion to see other's lives changed thru God's
power to restore, heal and deliver marriages in bound by this condition everywhere, and desiring to reach multitudes, with
God's message of hope, having this book published, will accomplish this goal. In the 14 years my husband has been involved
in the marriage ministry, and having ministered the word of God to others and sharing our testimony to countless people, we
discovered that multitudes are in relationships that are unequally yoked, it's vastly common, still both an emotionally and
spiritually traumatic experience. We are a living testimony of the unchanging truth of the power of God.
What is your international circle of influence or activity?
As far as the ministry that I am currently involved in,
it has not gone international as of yet, but we do plan to expand internationally.

over the next 12 months (if any)
For the most part, I am scheduled to be in CA on a
talk show (more details to follow) and as I said earlier, I am receiving many book orders even now.

What makes your book stand out from all the other titles currently
on the market? What are the major factors of your book that will have an appeal to readers?
This situation affects a majority of Christian marriages
everywhere and having experienced the devastation of this in my own relationship, I believe the message within this book will
minister hope to many others, validate the truth of God's word and be a witness of God's faithfulness to sustain, help, and
deliver those who believe in him and who stand on his word. There are not many books that deal as uniquely with
these issues as God has inspired me to do in this book. The minister offered in this book is great and whenever I make
mention of this book, many times, the response is "let us know when it's released, I would like to get a copy, that ministry
is really needed in my situation"! To date, I have started a list of names and numbers of those that have expressed
a desire to get a cooy of this book, and it was not printed at that time!
What is the target audience for your book? What type of
person would benefit most from your book? Be specific.
As I stated earlier, a person finding themselves in a marriage
with one being a Christian and the other being an unbeliever, anyone being in the situation of being unequally yoked, desiring
to stay in the relationship, believing God for change or even having a loved one in this situation, will be inspired from
reading this book!
What is your current ministry capacity? What are your primary
ministry passions?
I am a Licensed minister and my husband and I both minister
together in the marriage ministry at the Potter's House of Dallas, TX. We have just received certificates to council
in house at The Potter's House as lay council members of the counseling program there, under the leadership of Elder Bobby
Gibson, we will council marital, premarital, and also mentor other couples.
What is your current circle of influence? Include ministry
affiliations, key people, local church, bookstores, etc.
As stated earlier, my husband and I are involved in the
marriage ministry and have the opportunity to minister to many, many people, as lay council members, we are also members of
the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)
Our local church is The Potter's House of Dallas, TX, where
the Pastor is Bishop T.D. Jakes. The Potter's House has it's own bookstore on campus.
Do you have personal contacts for radio, television, or journal
exposure?
We do have access to the local Christian radio station
- that invites and encourages authors to go on the air to promote their inspirational books; also we are also in constant
contact with two or three local Christian television stations that also can be utilized to promote books.
As members of AACC we do have acquiescence to their nationally published monthly
magazine.
